The Herb Garden
Fielding School students have planted a medicinal herb garden in the courtyard of the UCLA Center for Health Sciences building as part of an effort to raise awareness about the importance of drought-tolerant plants and their produce. The garden includes only native California plants that can grow and thrive in the local environment.
Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden
A 7.5 acre public garden, outdoor classroom, and research facility on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, California. We promote botanical knowledge by curating collections that highlight biogeography, conservation, and natural history.
Partnership for a Healthier America
The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) is devoted to transforming the food landscape in pursuit of health equity.
De Neve Flex Bar
Find new balance and new favorites at De Neve’s new Flex Bar! The Flex way of eating is a balanced approach to nutrition.
Bruin Plate
Because its focus is on quality, freshness, and flavor, Bruin Plate helps to remove the stigma often associated with “healthy food.” Serving only healthy menu items also eliminates the inherent dilemma most diners have when faced with choosing what to eat.
Jane B Semel HCI Community Garden
In partnership with the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Center at UCLA, envisioned and supported by Jane and Terry Semel, the jane b semel Healthy Campus Initiative Community Garden provides an on-campus space for the UCLA community to grow healthy food and foster education of urban gardening practices.
LA Food Bank
We distribute food and other essentials to children, seniors, families and other individuals in need.
Financial Wellness Program
The mission of UCLA’s Financial Wellness Program is to empower all Bruins to confidently navigate their finances in a way that supports their overall well-being. This program fosters financial literacy skills through workshops, coaching and online educational efforts. Additionally, we aim to encourage students to know who, when and why to ask for help. Overall, the program centralizes and advocates for student economic support services on campus.
580 Cafe
580 Cafe is a community space for ALL students. Free food, wifi, study space. A place to learn about others and yourself, and how we build a more peaceful, just and clean world.
