Biography

Jonathan Wisner (he/him/his), born in San Diego and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has called Los Angeles home since he was an undergrad here at UCLA. After graduating in 2021 with a degree in International Development and Public Affairs and completing the post-graduate Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, Jonathan returned to UCLA in 2023. Working in the ASUCLA Student Union as the Student Government Support Manager, he gets the opportunity to develop and support our student leaders in their student government and campus organizations. The ASUCLA Student Union staff were pivotal support for Jonathan when he was a student serving two terms as the elected Community Service Commissioner, and it’s a privilege to get to be on the other side of that relationship now. Outside of UCLA, Johnathan loves to be outdoors camping, kayaking, or hiking. He spends lots of time with his rescue cat Augie and is currently on a mission to try every restaurant within a mile radius of his Venice apartment.
