Biography
Jessica J. Nunez (she/her/ella) is a UCLA Class of 2021 graduate from Santa Clarita, California. She double majored in Cognitive Science and Spanish, Community and Culture, and she is an aspiring physician passionate about addressing health disparities in underserved communities. Her passion in medicine lies at the intersection of public health and social justice. During her time at UCLA, she was the EngageWell Pod Blogger and Semel HCI’s social media coordinator, as well as an intern with UCLA Transplant Research and Education Center. Jessica is currently a health educator at a federally qualified health center, and she is working on a digital magazine as a creative outlet to voice public health issues that impact the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys.
