Built Environment
BEWell collaborates with campus and community leaders to identify, plan, and implement best practices for a healthy built environment. Our pod aims to create clean, green campus spaces that facilitate safe and active transportation, integrate physical activity into everyday life, reduce stress, and promote social engagement. BEWell aims to raise awareness about the potential of the built environment to positively impact health, happiness, and wellbeing.

A 7.5 acre public garden, outdoor classroom, and research facility on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, California. We promote botanical knowledge by curating collections that highlight biogeography, conservation, and natural history.
