Biography

Jessica Alexander (she/her/hers) is a first-gen alumna from Palmdale, CA. She studied Sociology as an undergrad and completed her MPA with a focus in non-profit sector management at CSUN in 2018. Jessica’s husband is also UCLA alumni and current staff. They met on campus and now raise a future Bruin of our own. As an ASUCLA staff member, Jessica supports student leaders and builds community for students via Student Union Programs. She is also a past president of Staff Assembly, serving during the pandemic from ’20-’21. As she completed her term as president, Jessica prepared to welcome her daughter in November ’21. Mom is the best part of her identity and Jessica spends a lot of time with her family, creating core memories for her. She is a nature and animal lover so they spend a lot of time at the farm and LA Zoo. They also have two Bruin pups, one of whom is a former Bear Wear model for the UCLA Store!
