Biography

Dr. Anne Dela Cruz (she/her/hers) was selected in October 2020 to serve in the expanded role of the Director for the consolidated Human Resources & Payroll Operations Center (HRPOC) within Campus Human Resources (CHR). In her role, Anne coordinates strategic planning and the implementation of process improvement initiatives for the campus shared HR and payroll service center locations. She also serves as the Chair of the UCLA Administration Equity Council.

Anne has held several leadership roles during her 15-year career at UCLA, including Director of Strategic Planning and Operations for UCLA Campus Human Resources, Executive Director of Student Affairs Initiatives and Deputy to the UCLA Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, Assistant Dean of Diversity, Inclusion and Admissions/Director of Graduate Admissions with the Division of Graduate Education (formerly Graduate Division), and Assistant Director of the Professional MBA Programs Career Management Center in the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Before returning to UCLA in 2019, she served as the inaugural Director of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity at the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. 

As a Los Angeles native, Anne grew up in Larchmont Village. Anne enjoys taking dance classes in her spare time, and she is a certified Zumba instructor who used to teach dance at the Cancer Support Community Los Angeles pre-pandemic.
