Biography

Marissa is a senior Art major and Visual and Performing Arts Education minor at UCLA. She was the MindWell Undergraduate Pod Assistant and a Student Educator at the Hammer Museum. Marissa co-founded Art at the Park, a volunteer program to provide K-12 kids without art classes focused on mindfulness, community-building, and self-efficacy. She is currently helping create a mural for the non-profit organization InsideOUT Writers, which offers a creative writing community for formerly and currently incarcerated youth/young adults as well as those who have been system-impacted.
