More about Dr. Bill Resnick
Bill Resnick is a psychiatrist and philanthropist who earned his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency at UCLA. He also has an M.B.A. from UCLA. He has worked as a community psychiatrist at AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Venice Family Clinic, where he continues to volunteer. Over the past two decades he has actively served on over a dozen nonprofit boards. Currently he chairs the board of InsightLA and is a trustee at American Jewish World Service. A Los Angeles native, Bill currently lives in West Hollywood, CA and splits his time teaching (medicine/psychiatry and mindfulness), volunteering as a psychiatrist and philanthropic work. Bill’s philanthropy is focused on community building, racial equity, criminal justice reform, and international human rights. In 2018, he started Big Bear Retreat Center.
